| Geraldine Welch Jerkins (Class of 1942) Nashville, TN Age 86 January 21, 2011 Born February 25, 1924 in Old Hickory, TN. She traveled the world and carried with her a pride in her hometown and in her family, spreading her love of them to all who would listen. Her journey's end leaves behind a husband, E. Ray Jerkins, after 65 years of devoted marriage. She will also be remembered by her two sons, Drs. Gerald and Gary Jerkins, and her seven grandchildren, Chris, Stephen, Brian, Jonathan, Nathan, Michael, Brittney, and two great-grandchildren, Kendall and Kailyn. We have all loved her and will miss her until the joy of our heavenly family reunion. Please join us in our goodbyes at her visitation in the Swang Chapel, Ezell Center, at Lipscomb University Sunday from 1pm until the time of services at 3 p.m. Graveside services for family and friends will be Monday at 11:30a.m. at Spring Hill Cemetery.
